"The 22k project went very smoothly from the accurate estimate to the completion. They were flexible with changes and product selections during the 5 day project. They started at dawn and worked after dark to get the job done. Diligent, focused and very easy to work with. No brainer on the next job. I will single source these great guys. The other two contractors I contacted were a no show with no forewarning."

When the rain put wear on the concrete during the drying process, he came back and patched it the next day for no charge."

Comment: I don't know enough to have much of an answer. I have some cracking in the concrete starting in a bedroom and going through the closet. I haven't followed up yet to see if it continues through the bathroom cabinets, it is all fairly close to the outside wall
    • Project Location: Albuquerque, NM

      Request Stage: Ready to Hire
      Location: Home/Residence

Comment: This manufactured home needs to be HUD compliant for a loan. The foundation needs to be a permanent foundation. Can you do the following? 1. The home is inadequately braced for both sliding and uplift. The home will require an engineered bracing/tiedown system anchored to concrete footings or slabs to be in compliance with HUD regulations for both horizontal and vertical bracing. Soil anchors are not an acceptable system for anchorage. (§100-1-C-a) 2. Exterior walls at doorways and marriage walls at openings need to have adequate piers to support them. These piers must sit atop a reinforced concrete footing with a minimum thickness of 8 inches or 1-1/2 times the length of the footing projection from the pier. (per §503) The bottoms of the footings should sit below frostline. 3. Existing Chassis Piers do not incorporate a reinforced concrete footing. Chassis piers require a reinforced concrete footing sized appropriately to prevent overloading the soil. (§100-1-C-b states “ Footing shall be reinforced concrete to be considered permanent”). Existing piers may be reused after new reinforced concrete footing is installed. These piers must sit atop a reinforced concrete footing with a minimum thickness of 8 inches or 1-1/2 times the length of the footing projection from the pier. (per §503) The bottoms of the footings should sit below frostline.
