"My first project was to have 2 slide locks mortised into my entry door. A&K did such a fine job that I requested an estimate for a small addition. Their price was right, as was their scheduling of the project. It entailed removal of interior walls, relocation of plumbing/electrical fixtures, form/pour/finish of a concrete slab, door installation (pocket and exterior entry), drywall installation and finish, and popcorn ceiling removal and replacement with knockdown. All work was HIGH QUALITY, customer service was TOPS. They addressed a couple 'surprises' left behind by the previous owner at minimal cost and schedule impact. I highly recommend"

"Paul is highly skilled and took the time to do the job right. He replaced four cracked tiles located in two bathrooms. Two tiles were adjacent to the toilets. In addition, the baths are tight which made the job a little harder. One of the toilets was removed easily. The other could not be removed due to the plumber using ready grout around the base instead of caulk. If a plumber wants to use grout around a toilet, tell him or her forget it otherwise the only way the toilet will come out is with a hammer & chisel. Paul cut the tile to fit at the grout joint and it looks great. Day after the job I cleaned the tiles to remove the haze and very pleased with the result. Highly recommend."

"Cory replaced some damaged boards in our glue-down wood floor, which was an intricate project given that he had to remove tongue-and-groove boards and replace them with new ones without removing the whole floor and without damaging the surrounding boards. He made the floor look like new, and in a very affordable way. This was one of a number of jobs he has done for us over a decade or so. He is always prompt, courteous and professional. His prices are extremely fair, and he is always honest about his level of confidence in his ability to do any given job. If he tells you he knows exactly how to do a job, you can count on it."
