"Erosion had started to affect planting beds along the backyard slope. Way To Go Builders built a retaining wall using concrete blocks with drainage behind each section. The Project leader supervised tier height and alignment. The wall stretches roughly 50 feet, stabilizing the slope and creating usable garden terraces. The completed structure allows planting, walking paths, and seating, improving function and safety."

"Eric Marroquin is a reliable, dependable, and excellent person in this field. I have used him several times for a lot of different things, from tree trimming to sump pumps, to drainage projects. He CLEANS UP after the work he does. He is ON TIME. He will call you back (unless on vacation) Give him a try next time you need something for your yard, even maintenance services, sprinkler installations or other bigger projects for artificial grass. "Alicia was wonderful to work with to transform our front courtyard and backyard into a beautiful garden setting. We moved in to our house over 18 years ago and the landscape was "meh" but we never really did much with it. Over the years, the old cracked pond and fountain became a hazard and the whole area in front of our porch looked desolate. Our backyard was more of a case of benign neglect. After a dangerous fall caused by the old pond in the front, we decided we needed to take all of it out and try and make the area look nice. I entered my project in Angie's List and Alicia was the first company to call me. She was very easy to talk to, and after comparing the bids of 3 other companies, I chose Firmly Planted for the job since they could do both the removal of the old rocks and concrete and put in a landscape design. She also had some great ideas for our neglected corner in our backyard as well as taking care of some items that needed to be done and repair a gate and brace a wood fence.. The estimate was VERY fair for the amount of work that was done. The workers arrived promptly Monday morning and were done by Thursday afternoon with all the debris cleaned up along with some additional trimming that I added to the job since they were already there. I am VERY happy with my new gardens in the front and back, the repair work that was done, and the quickness and ease that this project, that I have been dreading for over a decade, was completed."

"This was a very large project .The backyard was cleanup of 10 years of declining gardening and debris involving grading, resloping and placing degraded granite. Then there was the new design and installation of an irrigation system to support the new landscaping and sod installation in another part of the backyard. In the front we widened the driveway which involved root hacking, digging, laying re-bar and pouring and finishing down the new concrete. Yosef and his crew were responsive,capable and courteous. We felt the fee was very reasonable for such hard work. We are very pleased with the results."
