"When we bought our Milwaukie house in 2017, the back yard was a mess of mud and weeds. In 2018, with a loose vision to convert it into a bird and wildlife haven, with the beautiful grandmother cedar tree as the centerpiece, we hired Katie North and her crew to turn it into a reality. She understood what we wanted, and over the course of the work she helped us make better decisions for planting and layout. With Katie's background in wildlife biology and native plants, we leaned more heavily into planting natives with an eye to the Backyard Habitat program to support native pollinators and wildlife. This was truly an enormous project in a very large yard area, and we could not be happier with the work Katie and her team did. Our yard is unrecognizable from what it was when she started the work, and the scope of what she was able to do is amazing. The transformation is beyond astounding. We have added several plantings and made some changes in the subsequent years, but there is absolutely no way we could have done any of this without her expertise and skills. We now have our wildlife and pollinator haven and we're grateful every day for the incredible work she did to get us here."

"This is the third project I have hired Evergreen to complete. Nick and AV Valencia have a great working relationship with their crews. This time I hired them to take down 6 tall fir trees that kept dropping large limbs on my neighbors car and garage. After getting my permit approved by the City of Lake Oswego Nick called me up to let me know they had a cancellation and a 2 day opening to fit my job in. That was a relief. Tree companies are booked out over a month or more. They took down trees and ground the stumps and did their usual excellent clean up job and got finished in the two day window. AV even brought a bag of grass seed to spead on the few damage spots in the yard. Very thoughtful. Competitive bid, excellent value and very polite crew members. What"s not to like?
