"Was looking to get a Safety Hand Rail installed at the entrace to the house from the garage for my parents. Was looking for something that would be functional and would look nice w/o being too fancy. Most handyman services discussed custom iron rail handrails that needed to be cut/adjusted on site and could easily run into $400-$500 for even the most basic design. Spoke with Ron and after listening to me, he proposed a simple wood system that would get attached to the floor and wall and a handrail on top. He had me supply measurements and pictures of the entrace, sourced the material and painted all the pieces before arriving and got everything installed over 2 days. The 2nd day was mainly to source the proper brakets for the hand rail after I changed how I wanted it installed. He really takes the time to listen to the customers request and provides feedback on what is doable. Very easy to work with and takes alot of pride in doing things well and correctly and not rushing. Will definately use Ron again for larger project also. BTW, he kept the final price at his original quote of $200 and saved me money over all the other custom quotes."

"After purchasing a new condo that needed patching and painting I found Fine Painting via Angies List. Mario was friendly and responded to communications immediately. He came out for an estimate and to lay out the plan. His team painted 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms (1 bedroom was a dark blue color which is a difficult color if not painted properly). The project was projected to take 2.5-3 days. The team finished in 2 days which was great. They arrived before 8am each day, were friendly, helpful and accommodating as I had other work happening simultaneously. I plan on having them back out in the spring to paint other areas of the unit. They did a fantastic job and left the unit spotless! Thrilled I found them!"

"I was looking to get my kitchen cabinets painted and get a new island built. I had done a lot of research in trying to find someone who had the experience and knowledge of painting cabinets because I feel it is a specialized skill that cannot and should not be replicated just by any painter. I had several contractors provide me a quote and after discovering Vayda on Home Advisor, Peter and Jack came over to also provide me a quote. Although a little higher than other quotes I had received, there is no doubt to Peters attention to detail and great customer service as it related to the cabinet painting and Jacks craftsmanship for the kitchen island was impeccable as well. Peter showed up on time every time and explained the process to me in detail so I was very comfortable in trusting Peter with my cabinets. I would 100% consider and will continue to work with Peter for future home projects and recommend others as well - you will not be disappointed!"
