"Maxamus Projects installed solid maple hardwood in our home and is the best contractor of any kind that I have dealt with - ever. After a negative experience with a flooring installer in a condo that we rent out, I wanted to find someone who does quality work. I was unable to get any recommendations from friends so found MP based on reviews on Homeadvisor. At first I found it hard to believe that any company could have that many legitimate 5 star reviews but after interacting with him prior to signing a contract I could sense why others were so pleased to work with him. Max was quick to respond to any communications, he spent considerable time measuring and preparing an estimate with different options as we were not sure how many rooms we wanted to install flooring in. He was very knowledgeable and was able to make suggestions and answer any questions I had. He gave me all the info I needed to order the flooring and transitions that I would need. He completed the estimate while at my house which was preferable to having to wait for days or weeks to receive an estimate. He was extremely professional in all of our dealings. On top of that, I got the sense that he is a man of good character who cares about the quality of his work. Unfortunately that is not so common these days. I felt completely comfortable leaving my house with Max and his crew. All were kind and friendly. Maxamus Projects went above and beyond what I would have expected from any company. We had difficulty removing a vanity cabinet and the stone around our fireplace was uneven. They were able to help us with both of those issues without charging an extra fee. Our floors look great (and I am very particular). When we install our next round of hardwood, we plan to have Maxamus Projects install it. We love our new floors!"

"I needed my deck re-stained. The process was really easy. They came out and inspected the deck. We reviewed color options and found something that matched my requirements. They had had an opening later that week, but I had to push back the date due my own availability. The deck was finished after a couple of hours, everything was cleaned up, nothing left for me to do. Overall the work and experience was very professional and would recommend."

"We wanted to restore our hardwood floors which had been carpeted. Living room with wall to wall carpeting installed with tack-less strips , no problem. Dining room was carpeted with level loop padded carpet that was glued down. Carpet came up but glue residue did not. Dan said "No problem" and it wasn't. came out beautiful! We are so pleased. Everyone who sees the result are amazed. It is better than when we moved in fifty years ago. Extra : Dust collection was amazing. We had packed away all books on built-in bookshelves . concerned about dust, but there wasn't any! Great!"

"We used Fred Flooring to replace an old tile floor with LVP in our kitchen & family room. It was a big job, including demo of the old floor. Fred's team were professional and tidy. The pricing proposal was detailed and helped us think through some options we had not considered. We love the new floor & we highly recommend!"

"It is with deep satisfaction that I recommend Gradys Painting and Plastering & Construction. Mr. George Grady is a skilled craftsman. He was hired to correct long neglected and extensive masonry and window issues on a large, beautiful Presbyterian Church built in the Civil War era in Philadelphia. The property was neglected with only minimal maintenance performed over the last 40+ years. The building was in severe decline and in need of stabilization and restoration on many fronts. Cracked ledge plates were chipped out and reestablished, internal walls damaged by leakage were broken out and repaired, brickwork was repointed and in severe cases reestablished to original strength and beauty. Leaks around the base of the building were addressed to stabilize deterioration of the foundation. Large rotted window sills under beautiful stained glass windows were restored after significant masonry reestablishment due to water damage under the rotted out sills. Broken and missing stained glass windows are in the process of repair and replacement. The process started with new metal frames cast by Mr. Grady. The new frames will hold clear painted replications of the original stained glass, also crafted by Mr. Grady. Regular windows all around the church and manse were also repaired and restored. Roof leaks were accurately identified and repaired. A sagging plaster ceiling has been torn out and restored. All this work was done by Mr. Grady alone or with an occasional helper. He worked with care, expertise and respect for the original structure. The results far exceeded our expectations and have injected new life into a building on the brink. This building, owned by the Presbytery of Philadelphia, now houses a new urban ministry in a newly gentrifying area of the city. We are happy to have had the good fortune to be connected to Gradys Painting and Plastering & Construction by Service Magic."
