"Adan Hernandez and his crew came to my home and transformed weather beaten aspects of the property into looking new again. Even members from my neighborhood came to me to inquire as to who the painter might be - "Home Innovtive Painting". The Surface of my home had been exposed to harsh weather from winds and sun in a southern exposure that's infamous for the area in which I live. Hernandez made it look simple and masterfully resolved. I highly recommend him for his quality approach."

"This company is awesome. I called them and they had an opening the day before Thanksgiving. They came and scraped, caulked, reinforced, and painted the exterior trim of home and shed. It looks great and they worked hard and steadily while they visited. They were also very nice to our kids. Would definitely recommend. : )"

"I am extremely happy with the work that they have done. I am selling my home so I needed someone to come and do a yard cleanup and some junk removal. I then had them remove my old fascia, replace it, and paint it. I then had them replace the ceilings in both of my bathrooms as they had water damage. They did an awesome job. There were a few other things that I had them do and it was done. This took about a week to complete and they were on time and cleaned up after themselves. I am extremely happy with their work."

"Overall, Ken Rubio was courteous, informative and responsive. During the entire process, he was professional. He fully answered any questions and/or concerns regarding any of the work on our stucco house and wood fence. He was very thorough in the preliminary walk-around taking notes and pics on his tablet and explained the work to be done and the time frames involved. He provided a detailed written estimate in a very timely manner which included two time frames of tentative dates for the work to be scheduled. Ken was especially transparent and communicative in that regard. His work team was courteous and punctual. From my perspective, they were experienced and very efficient. I was very impressed with the attention to detail exercised by Big Horn with the house exterior trim. At completion of the job, any thing noted during the punch-list walk around was fully addressed to our satisfaction by Ken and his team. All work was completed as projected during the preliminary walk-through and as scheduled according to the estimate. There was no debris of any kind left behind. In conclusion, I will not hesitate to hire Big Horn again. I plan to contact Ken for some interior work as soon as practical for our household."

Painters usually price a job by the square feet of the project. Sometimes they’ll include flat fees for fixed expenses, like overhead and permits.

Interior painting makes for a doable DIY project. You can save some money and get a real sense of accomplishment by doing this yourself. And, with the right prep work – covering, taping and scraping – it’s fairly forgiving. But it takes a lot of time to move furniture, tape trim, prep the surface and cover your floor, let alone apply the actual paint. Instead, save yourself the time and hassle and find a local interior painter.
Leave exterior painting to the pros. Not only do you need to worry about the type and quality of the paint, you’ll also likely need a ladder and considerably more prep work. You’ll likely need additional equipment like ladders, scaffolding and possibly a paint sprayer. It’s almost cheaper to just hire a pro. Talk to a local exterior house painter about your project.
