"Warren was simply good from the first call / meet at home with him. He was patiently hearing my requirement, went about showing the models, ideas and ended up doing an excellent job. He totally re-did my walkin shower ground-up for a very reasonable cost. He completed the job on the time he committed and left a clean bath room. I will for sure, recommend him to my friends and known ones."

"The weather in May was quite wet so we had to dodge raindrops to complete the project. Sal came on a Tuesday and did a thorough job power washing the deck. Jeremy arrived that Friday and spent 4+ hours staining it. We are very happy with the outcome. Grateful Painting gave us good bang for the buck. Very reasonable. Would definitely use again."

"With my inquiry on Angi’s I received a quick reply and timely follow through with a quote for the several small drywall jobs we needed help with. The quality of work was exceptional with such a high level of craft. The job took a day and a half as anticipated. They cleaned the work area better than they found it. They were also on time each morning and quick communicators. I highly recommend!!!!"

"JK Custom Painting exceeded all our expectations. Kellyn’s communication was prompt and excellent throughout the entire process. Jairo’s attention to detail is truly unmatched — the quality of his work is exceptional. We had a large project, our home is over 4,300 sq ft. All surfaces were painted including ceilings, closets, kitchen and bathroom cabinets, walls, and trim. They completely removed popcorn ceilings and wallpaper, repaired all surfaces meticulously, and prepped everything to perfection. You’d never know the popcorn ceilings were ever there. They also offered thoughtful suggestions on paint textures and colors, which really elevated the final look. Most importantly, their top priority was our satisfaction, and it shows in every detail of their work. We exceptionally happy with the results!"

Depending on the type of project, you may find subtle differences in the hiring process. Here’s a look at task-specific advice.
You can use HomeAdvisor to help evaluate a contractor’s qualifications. We put pros through a screening process, and award badges to high-performing contractors. You can find these badges on a pro’s HomeAdvisor profile, and sometimes, his or her website.
Your research doesn’t stop here. Once you’ve found a few prospective companies, make an call to ask a few questions about work history, licensure and more:
In most cases, the responses you get to these three questions will give you a very good idea of the right pro for your project. If you have more than one front-runner, these additional questions can help you narrow it down.
Any good contractor will answer these questions, and most will appreciate dealing with a client that takes such an active interest in finding good service. On the other hand, if a contractor gives you a hard time with these questions, you probably want to find someone else.
