The south also butts up against a goldfish pond. The west side has a single step to ground level. The west side also butts up against a wooden cabinet that holds pool equipment. The cabinet is roughly 4-feet wide, 3-feet high and 3-feet deep. The cabinet is part of the deck and would need to be replaced as well. There are some nuisances that we’ll want to keep. There are some electric wires that run under the deck (we aren’t asking for any electrical work, just make sure the wiring continues to be stored under the deck). Also, some garden hoses run under the deck (for the pond and other watering needs). A trap door was created to access the faucet and hoses. I can get you pictures and the folks watching our home can get specific measurements when needed.
