"I called a number of different companies looking to have my pool resurfaced and re-tiled. I had 4 different companies all come out to give quotes. Pretty much all of them tried to upsell me on all sorts of upgrades and were very ambiguous about the quotes they were giving me. In addition, a couple of them even told me that it was take 3-4 weeks to have the pool completed from the start of the project. I found Marshall on Home Advisor and when he came out to meet with me, he gave me a competitive price, a great timeline, and seemed to overall be someone I could trust. Turned out I was right. I had a new pool in a week from the time they started on it, and I'm really happy with the results. Unlike many contractors I've worked with in the past, Marshall did exactly what he said he would do in the time frame he said he would do it. He also threw in a few items that I wouldn't have even known to include (at no cost) to make sure the project was done right. I can't tell anyone who to go with ultimately, but I think you are doing yourself a disservice if you don't take the time to have Marshall come take a look and talk with you. This was a significant investment and I needed to go with someone my gut told me I could trust. Most of the pool companies I met with scheduled me almost a week out to come give a fancy quote, came out in their pool company logo shirts and I felt like they were trying to sell me a car. Marshall simply stopped by one day after one of his jobs, talked me through the process, answered all of my likely "pool-naive" questions, let me know what I could expect from his team, and gave me a no-nonsense/no-frills quote. It was more like talking with a family member about what I was looking for and having them educate me on the process and give me some recommendations, rather than getting a business quote. Ultimately, the choice around type of plaster and tile were all mine, but Marshall gave me all the information I needed to make a decision and then worked with me as we went back and forth in changing our minds. "I had hired a contractor that was in over their head,then I found Eddy at Victory and his father,they finished wiring and plumbing my equipment,as well as hooking up the aqua link and salt cell. They did a mini pebble finish onyx,it's absolutely beutiful. They also finished the tile around the jacuzzi. Lastly they have people that helped to get my pool started up and they educated me on how to care for my pool. Very professional,they did not waste time!"
