"Only regret with this survey is that I can only give five stars, for surely they deserve at least twenty. All contract work was perfect and extra attention and service was abundant. Timely, clean, professional, polite, and high quality craftsman work from excavation, foundation, framing, roofing, siding, interior drywall, plumbing, electrical, trim work, painting, doors and windows installed, custom designing in closets and bathroom and landscaping patio, yard and gardens - all above and beyond even my hopes."

"Hired them to put a bathroom in my unfinished basement and I couldn't be happier with the whole process, start to finish. Would definitely use them again."

"Excellent. I'd say he went above and beyond. Not only did he recommend a less expensive option for our porch post, he picked it up himself at Lowes - and when he discovered it had a scratch, he took it back and got another one before coming out. The job was completed quickly and looks great, and I'd definitely use him for another job."

"They were professional and friendly and my master bathroom turned out to be better than expected. My bathroom went from third world to the Taj Majal. Thank you Herrod Brothers!!"

You can use HomeAdvisor to help evaluate a contractor’s qualifications. We put pros through a screening process, and award badges to high-performing contractors. You can find these badges on a pro’s HomeAdvisor profile, and sometimes, his or her website.
Your research doesn’t stop here. Once you’ve found a few prospective companies, make an call to ask a few questions about work history, licensure and more:
In most cases, the responses you get to these three questions will give you a very good idea of the right pro for your project. If you have more than one front-runner, these additional questions can help you narrow it down.
Any good contractor will answer these questions, and most will appreciate dealing with a client that takes such an active interest in finding good service. On the other hand, if a contractor gives you a hard time with these questions, you probably want to find someone else.
