"James and his crew are fantastic to work with! After interviewing and getting bids from at least ten other contractors, I hired KDOC Construction to replace our existing deck that was falling apart. It is a large deck (10 x39 ) that spans the entire rear of our house. It is accessible from upstairs and provides a huge entertainment area both upstairs and underneath, so the top needed to be resurfaced and waterproofed, as well. We were leaning towards simply repairing it, and the other guys that we met with would not even entertain that and just seemed to want to sell us decks that were super tricked-out and overly decorative - which is not our style. Most of those bids were extraordinarily high and had things we did not need or want. They wouldnâ t even discuss replacement. When James the owner of KDOC came out we talked about the pros and cons of both options and we decided to go ahead w the total replaced... a great choice! He and his crew came every day (a few days off for materials to cure in between) and worked like crazy until the end of the day - never left early - ever - and cleaned up their work area at the end of each day. I was so impressed at the communication between James, his crew, and me. I always have a definite picture in my mind and was able to get just the look I wanted. Our new deck is beautiful!
