"James was knowledgeable and worked to get it just right, making trips to locate the exact flooring and underlay that I requested. In my home, he was a professional, efficient, and skillful worker who cleaned as he went. Would definitely hire JS Residential again and I would recommend this company. I am very happy with my new floor."

Painting, Wood Repair
"Wes from Smith Painting did an excellent job and we definitely recommend him. He was professional, provided us with an estimate and finished the job quickly. We had him stain our deck. He power washed, repaired loose boards, sanded and hand painted the gaps between the deck slats. He then applied two coats of stain. We couldn’t ask for better work! We will definitely contact him in the future for any of our painting needs. Thank you, Wes!"

"I have had 2 painting projects done by Ohio Painting and Pressure Wash, Inc. (my house in 2012 and my mom's house in Aug 2016). They do excellent work and the results look fantastic. Their crew is friendly, courteous, conscientious, and hard working. They take great pride in their work and go the extra mile in completing their work."

Painters usually price a job by the square feet of the project. Sometimes they’ll include flat fees for fixed expenses, like overhead and permits.

Interior painting makes for a doable DIY project. You can save some money and get a real sense of accomplishment by doing this yourself. And, with the right prep work – covering, taping and scraping – it’s fairly forgiving. But it takes a lot of time to move furniture, tape trim, prep the surface and cover your floor, let alone apply the actual paint. Instead, save yourself the time and hassle and find a local interior painter.
Leave exterior painting to the pros. Not only do you need to worry about the type and quality of the paint, you’ll also likely need a ladder and considerably more prep work. You’ll likely need additional equipment like ladders, scaffolding and possibly a paint sprayer. It’s almost cheaper to just hire a pro. Talk to a local exterior house painter about your project.
