Handyman
"I hired Jim Sluis to replace rotted wood trim and wood decorative "fence" on my front porch. Quality work done, accommodating my time constraints. Went above and beyond, not only painting the new trim, but also the adjacent trim and all of the trim at that level to match. Also dry-walled an open wall in the garage left open by previous plumbing repairs. Good quality work, good value. I already recommended him to various neighbors."

"It's hard to find a good contractor these days. We found Pure Home Remodeling after searching through several online websites and swore we'd post here if they were as great as they sounded. Pure Home Remodeling is a professional company, ethical, honest and they handled our remodeling like it was their only project. We had a big relief to find such a good contractor that is so straight forward, honest and professional while incredibly capable. What we did with Pure Home Remodeling was to demolish the entire back porch of the home, demolish the kitchen, dining room and bedroom - and redesign them from the ground up including the laundry room. The project completed just last week and the new remodeling is more than what we hoped to get and see. The new kitchen with the dining room is now one big open space from the rest of the house and people can't notice that it's an addition. I would like also to mention that our 3 young kids, and it was pretty easy while the crew / subcontractors were working at the house. These people were working while we were there at the house, and each worker was extremely polite and professional. As for the final price for this remodeling, Pure Home Remodeling wasn't the lowest estimate we got from all the other estimates that we got (total of 4 more), but we hired them because the quality of work that we saw on their website and the great reviews that we read online. We are extremely satisfied and happy with the complete work that was done by Pure Home Remodeling and we are very grateful that we chose them."

"James was a pleasure to have in my home for 2 weeks while repainting the entire interior of a 3000sf home. In addition, I have 2 babies and we had just moved inâ ¦ boxes and crap everywhere. No huge project ever goes smoothly, there were hiccups along the way, but James was accommodating and flexible, and did a very quality job. I would absolutely hire him again, and plan to."

"I needed stabilization and repairs on a 25 year old wood deck. Jeff evaluated fully and gave a very fair estimate. When they arrived he noticed some stairs needed support so also did that for no extra charge even. They were very efficient with their time, very personable, honest, professional and did an amazing job. Great experience. Highly recommend!"

Painters usually price a job by the square feet of the project. Sometimes they’ll include flat fees for fixed expenses, like overhead and permits.
We make finding a painter easy. Simple use our directory to find a painter. Here you can browse local pros, check their reviews and do your first screening without ever having to call. We’ve also prescreened all the pros for you, to give you peace of mind.
Interior painting makes for a doable DIY project. You can save some money and get a real sense of accomplishment by doing this yourself. And, with the right prep work – covering, taping and scraping – it’s fairly forgiving. But it takes a lot of time to move furniture, tape trim, prep the surface and cover your floor, let alone apply the actual paint. Instead, save yourself the time and hassle and find a local interior painter.
Leave exterior painting to the pros. Not only do you need to worry about the type and quality of the paint, you’ll also likely need a ladder and considerably more prep work. You’ll likely need additional equipment like ladders, scaffolding and possibly a paint sprayer. It’s almost cheaper to just hire a pro. Talk to a local exterior house painter about your project.
