"I went to Angie's to find a contractor for a bathroom remodel earlier this year and a floor installation 2 weeks ago. Called on a Monday the project Mgr. came out on Tuesday, and my floors were installed on Thursday. So this was the second time I went to Angie's, and they are GREAT!!!! I will be going on there again for light install I would highly recommend Angie's for anyone looking for installation for any projects you have. The worker's are respectable and polite they make sure you are satisfied with the work before they leave as well as asking midway. They clean the area before the leave as well....AWESOME!!!!"

"A STEP ABOVE Drywalling & Painting certainly lives up to its name! Tony, the owner, is a pleasant, kind, understanding, professional individual. When I needed to change our contracted work date, LITERALLY the day before, Tony immediately rescheduled and never made me feel like a troublesome client. And this was all changed on a Sunday afternoon when he did not even have to answer his email to accommodate me. Nice, but what about the workmanship, you say! Well, Andres is Phenomenal!! He is highly skilled and his work is impeccable!! He repaired and painted 5 large holes in my drywall and you cannot see even the slightest uneven texture or imperfection!! He even cleaned up beautifully afterwards. All this, and the price was great....and very fair. I will use A Step Above again and again!!"

HomeAdvisor makes it easy to connect with pros near you. You can read reviews, get quotes and book appointments all in one place.
Depending on the type of project, you may find subtle differences in the hiring process. Here’s a look at task-specific advice.
You can use HomeAdvisor to help evaluate a contractor’s qualifications. We put pros through a screening process, and award badges to high-performing contractors. You can find these badges on a pro’s HomeAdvisor profile, and sometimes, his or her website.
Your research doesn’t stop here. Once you’ve found a few prospective companies, make an call to ask a few questions about work history, licensure and more:
In most cases, the responses you get to these three questions will give you a very good idea of the right pro for your project. If you have more than one front-runner, these additional questions can help you narrow it down.
Any good contractor will answer these questions, and most will appreciate dealing with a client that takes such an active interest in finding good service. On the other hand, if a contractor gives you a hard time with these questions, you probably want to find someone else.
Smyrna Addition & Remodeling Contractors are rated 4.9 out of 5 based on 410 reviews of 410 pros.
