"Chris, an experienced and knowledgeable technician responded to a request for service. After evaluating my 14 year old unit, he indicated that he could replace the fan but pointed out the significant corrosion on the coil and evaporator. He suggested that I may want to consider a new unit in view of what would undoubtedly be additional repair costs in the near future. As I have had some recent AC experience in a previous home I concurred with his appraisal of the unit and asked him to price one out for me.
