"From start to Finish, Fred has been great to work with. We had some pressing structural issues that he was able to address with our eco which prevented further damage to our home and then was flexible with us as we worked to design some upgrades with him. He is very friendly and provides regular updates on the work and planned timelines. Highly Reccommend!"

"We had a phenomenal experience with Morris Property Services! We had an old, run down deck that needed replacing and we had the team pour in new concrete footings, demo and replace the roof, replace all of the boards, and screen in the entire thing so our cats could have a very special place. The pricing was very reasonable and the professionalism was superb. Every member of the construction team was respectful, kind, and diligent. Moreover, Eric does an excellent job keeping us appraised of the progress and often anticipating our needs. We were consistently blown away with their attention to detail. For example, we asked for a special “cat proof” screen. Not only did they deliver, but they also noticed that the standard door they purchased didn’t meet this spec. So, without even asking, they rescreened the entire door to be safer for our cats. They even checked to make sure that the pull strings for the ceiling fan they installed were at an appropriate height. A fantastic job!"

"Jacob and Cody have been amazing to work with. We originally hired them to repair our stairs and have since contracted with them to install our kitchen tile floor, install electric in our kitchen island and to repair some of our drywall. Their team is very professional, their estimates are accurate and they do quality work. We plan to hire them again when we remodel our bathrooms."

A truly skilled, well-equipped professional with a truck full of parts that charges $100 an hour can be a much wiser choice than an inexperienced hack, working with inadequate tools and no parts, but charging much less. Often, more experienced professionals get the job done quickly with warrantied work.
2. Compare Travel ChargesRates reflect travel times. Travel charges can have a big impact on your costs and are in some ways easier to compare than hourly rates. Many electricians spend a third or more of their time navigating traffic on their way to a jobsite. Every contractor must find a way to pay for the expense of driving each day.
3. Bundle Repair Jobs TogetherWhen you feel it’s time to call a pro, review your list and then conduct a mini-inspection of your home. Look for faulty switches and dysfunctional or crowded outlets. When the electrician comes, you’ll save money and time by getting everything taken care of at once.
