"I originally contacted Joe and Sunny Day about building a small garage/Pool House. I later changed my plans to build a covered patio which is adjacent to the pool and gives me a cohesive space between house and pool. Resulting in better home re-sale value. I had an idea in mind and Joe took it, improved on it and built a beautiful reality. Joe and his crew are so easy to work with, Prompt, Respectful,Couteous, Professional and Driven. I could not have hired a better company. Joe stayed on top of things at all times. Project was completed in a timely manner and spot-on budget. I definately would hire Joe and Sunny Day Remodeling for future projects. "

"I received 2 other estimates for my floors and stairs...they were 300-400 $ less than Jim Swan Flooring. Why did I go with Jim Swan??? First of all the lower estimates tried to pressure me...sign a contract before work begins and wanted large deposits up front. Jim never did that...he explained everything in a courteous, professional manner. In one word, TRUST. My wife and I could not be happier with the results. So pleased with the floors. His installation crew was outstanding ...lead by Tony they were awesome !! Thank you Jim and Tony."

HomeAdvisor makes it easy to connect with pros near you. You can read reviews, get quotes and book appointments all in one place.
Depending on the type of project, you may find subtle differences in the hiring process. Here’s a look at task-specific advice.
You can use HomeAdvisor to help evaluate a contractor’s qualifications. We put pros through a screening process, and award badges to high-performing contractors. You can find these badges on a pro’s HomeAdvisor profile, and sometimes, his or her website.
Your research doesn’t stop here. Once you’ve found a few prospective companies, make an call to ask a few questions about work history, licensure and more:
In most cases, the responses you get to these three questions will give you a very good idea of the right pro for your project. If you have more than one front-runner, these additional questions can help you narrow it down.
Any good contractor will answer these questions, and most will appreciate dealing with a client that takes such an active interest in finding good service. On the other hand, if a contractor gives you a hard time with these questions, you probably want to find someone else.
