I was really lucky in my choice for the work done and I will definitely have him back for future work. I would highly recommend JB Contracting for any home improvement work, including additions or basements."

"Tony and his crew were great to work with. Everyday they started by laying down tarps to walk on so that carpet would not get tracked on. At the end of each workday, all tools & materials were picked up and the site cleaned and swept. Work quality from initial framing to the final paint coat was done meticulously. Very pleased. We would absolutely recommend this contractor."

"Hired them based on recommendations and was pleasantly surprised. Melissa was such a big help with remodeling a 40 year old kitchen. They were here to do the job everyday until it was finished. The crew were all great. They did their job and did extra to help an old lady with little things not in their job description, I am sure. Jason was here to answer any questions I might have had. I was so glad that I chose them to do the job. Would recommend them to anyone."

He would call or text back all of the time. He is willing to work within whatever parameters you want to set. He wants to make sure you are satisfied with the work, and will make adjustments as requested."

HomeAdvisor makes it easy to connect with pros near you. You can read reviews, get quotes and book appointments all in one place.
Depending on the type of project, you may find subtle differences in the hiring process. Here’s a look at task-specific advice.
You can use HomeAdvisor to help evaluate a contractor’s qualifications. We put pros through a screening process, and award badges to high-performing contractors. You can find these badges on a pro’s HomeAdvisor profile, and sometimes, his or her website.
Your research doesn’t stop here. Once you’ve found a few prospective companies, make an call to ask a few questions about work history, licensure and more:
In most cases, the responses you get to these three questions will give you a very good idea of the right pro for your project. If you have more than one front-runner, these additional questions can help you narrow it down.
Any good contractor will answer these questions, and most will appreciate dealing with a client that takes such an active interest in finding good service. On the other hand, if a contractor gives you a hard time with these questions, you probably want to find someone else.
