"We would Highly Recommend A & C Plumbing.They did an extraordinary job and really went the extra mile for us. We had to replace our main service line. And they were able to come the day after the estimate to do the work, and get the proper permits, which was great since we didn't have any water. They spent the entire day getting a monster of a job done, in the scorching heat. There was a hand dug trench 3ft deep 6 ft across for the main service line, replaced the ancient galvanized main service line, and a whole new up to code system installed inside. So, they go to tie the house into the city line and there's a leak on the city side too. They called it in to DPW and finish their part, and we had water (we hadn't for over 2 days at that point). A & C gave us the DPW work order number and we all think it's going to get taken care of, right.....ð ¤ For the next 2 weeks DPW says they are investigating and to be patient. Then they tell us it's our fault and the leak is on our side, which we knew wasn't correct, and  contacted A & C. We called DPW, A& C called DPW, we emailed, and A &C emailed. We finally got an inspector to really investigate, then DPW came to fix it, twice, after first visit we had no water. Anthony came to the second DPW service call to talk to the crew, supervisor and inspector, to make sure everything was ok and to see if they had any questions for him, then he went to his other job site. When DPW tied the house back to the water main they had clogged the line (working in an open muddy pit) and told me to call the plumber. I called Anthony (A &C), informed him of everything going on. When he finished the job he was working he came back to the house, he cleared out the traps he just installed we Finally had Water! A & C Plumbing are a small local business that really stuck with us and helped us with a difficult time with the water company. Anthony came back when we really needed him to Personally talk with the DPW work crew, supervisors, and inspectors. Competitive rates, Quality work and a Warranty!"

"Expert drain specialists, an honest family with decades of combined experience. Within hours, James came to our home and gave us a fair quote on the best case scenario of our problem. Given the age of the pipes -- 59 years-- and with info from us about a previous kitchen drain clog, James explained that our drain fly infestation is likely due to old decayed pipe. James said that they would drill down through the basement slab under our kitchen and remove one section of decayed pipe at a time until all decayed pipe was removed. He was right. 20 feet of decayed pipe was removed, and his brother John jetted the rest of the pipe. When his brothers John and Andy promptly showed up as promised to begin the job, I was an emotional wreck, given my low-immunity cancer problem as I swatted hundreds of filthy drain flies around me. John assured me that he will "take care of this -- because this is what he does [for a living]." He worked tirelessly with Andy in the heat of our basement over two days busting up concrete and replacing pipe with PVC. My husband and I were apprised of progress along the rotten-pipe trail. A "clean out" was added along the way. Given that that this is no exact science, we appreciated these updates. One can only hope for the best. Howie completed the job by artfully troweling the concrete. Given that this basement is part of our living area, we appreciated how well they cleaned up. Thank you Smith family!
