"Gary and his crew arenยt quite done with our porch conversion into an all season room, but we could not be happier with them. They are professional, punctual, neat, and attentive to every detail. Gary is great to work with and very responsive and helpful. Would not hesitate to hire him again for any future projects."

"Mid-State Basement Systems came highly recommended by a good friend from Buffalo, NY and they did not disappoint. From start to finish they were very professional yet personable. Larry & Phil in the initial stages of the basement inspection and a reasonable quote. Silvino and his team who done the actual work was incredible, done with absolute excellence. They were here when they said they would be and finished the job a day ahead of schedule. I am thoroughly pleased with this company, first class. I highly recommend them if you need work done on your basement.******"

"I obtained several estimates before choosing LLP to repair and roof a portion of my home. They are professional and completed the job as promised, at a fair price. I would definitely hire them for future projects."

"MCRM was a pleasure to work with. I hired MCRM to assess, disassemble and reinstall roughly 200รข of vinyl fence recently installed by another company. The previous install was not plumb, level or installed per the fence manufacturers guidelines, thereby jeopardizing any future warranty work. Mark explained what needed done and provided a tiered proposal based on additional items uncovered during the disassembly. Communication was clear, the job site was left in a secure and neat condition each day and I had a clear understanding of scheduling. It was a very pleasant experience and MCRM will be used for additional projects at my home."

HomeAdvisor makes it easy to connect with pros near you. You can read reviews, get quotes and book appointments all in one place.
Depending on the type of project, you may find subtle differences in the hiring process. Hereโs a look at task-specific advice.
You can use HomeAdvisor to help evaluate a contractorโs qualifications. We put pros through a screening process, and award badges to high-performing contractors. You can find these badges on a proโs HomeAdvisor profile, and sometimes, his or her website.
Your research doesnโt stop here. Once youโve found a few prospective companies, make an call to ask a few questions about work history, licensure and more:
In most cases, the responses you get to these three questions will give you a very good idea of the right pro for your project. If you have more than one front-runner, these additional questions can help you narrow it down.
Any good contractor will answer these questions, and most will appreciate dealing with a client that takes such an active interest in finding good service. On the other hand, if a contractor gives you a hard time with these questions, you probably want to find someone else.
