"We reached out to Brian on a Sunday morning and he responded within 30 minutes. That initial encounter was representative of all of our dealings with him. He is responsive and professional. There was a slight delay with a supplier, the effects of which were communicated promptly and the schedule revised. Heâ s clean and tidy with his work and pays great attention to detail. In the course of the installation of our new sliding door, Brian discovered and resolved issues left behind by the previous owner. We are very pleased with the work done and will not hesitate to have Brian work his way through our list of repairs and future projects. For thumbs up from us!"

"We had a wonderful experience! Their work is tremendous, at a great price. More than anything, through no fault of their own, the material supplier messed up and sold the material for my project. Woodridge worked very hard to get the supplier to deliver the material even though it was 2 days later. They still finished my deck on time and did a beautiful job. I will be hiring them for more jobs. A great family business!"

"Nixon was on time. He completed his task expeditiously. He was very pleasant to work with. He is very knowledgeable in many repair areas and well equipped with a nice truck more than adequate to hold all of his tools. I will consider him for other jobs in the future as the need arises."

"Gerald's knows his stuff. I chose him to run a line for my icemaker. He walked me through the process step by step. He had to drill through several cabinets to get to the water line. He was neat and thorough. I'd highly recommend Gerald for any plumbing needs"

HomeAdvisor makes it easy to connect with pros near you. You can read reviews, get quotes and book appointments all in one place.
Depending on the type of project, you may find subtle differences in the hiring process. Here’s a look at task-specific advice.
You can use HomeAdvisor to help evaluate a contractor’s qualifications. We put pros through a screening process, and award badges to high-performing contractors. You can find these badges on a pro’s HomeAdvisor profile, and sometimes, his or her website.
Your research doesn’t stop here. Once you’ve found a few prospective companies, make an call to ask a few questions about work history, licensure and more:
In most cases, the responses you get to these three questions will give you a very good idea of the right pro for your project. If you have more than one front-runner, these additional questions can help you narrow it down.
Any good contractor will answer these questions, and most will appreciate dealing with a client that takes such an active interest in finding good service. On the other hand, if a contractor gives you a hard time with these questions, you probably want to find someone else.
New Milford Addition & Remodeling Contractors are rated 4.6 out of 5 based on 563 reviews of 563 pros.
