"Chet and his crew did a dynamite job at my house and in record time. I came across Chet on Home Advisor and he called back to follow up immediately. He then came out to do an estimate a day or two later. On the scheduled day of painting, Chet was on site right at 8am. You sure don't find that kind of timeliness with contractors very often, but Chet was Johnny on the spot. Chet and just one other painter were able to finish the walls in my kitchen, living room, mudroom, stairwell, hallway, and master bedroom in only 7 hours! In comparison, it took me about 2 working days EACH to paint some of the other rooms in my house. Their work looks great and my wife loves it. To paint half or more of the interior, I found the price ($1500) to be great and gladly paid up for the time and hassle it saved me. Lastly, Chet is a super professional, polite, and friendly guy! I will 100% hire Chet again when the next time rolls around and will be sure to pass his name along to friends and family. Thanks Chet!"

"They do beautiful work. They redid some awful wood kitchen cabinets in a condo we inherited. They came out awesome and new hardware and hinges changed. We had them painted white with black hardware Very pleased with their work. They look like new! Don't hesitate to hire them if you need anything painted. It's a husband and wife team. They are the sweetest couple and truly care about their customers."

"Is the limit only 5 stars? Bob did several jobs for me that I can no longer do for myself. This included painting a 50 foot concrete garage, removing 2 custom made interior doors, & taking them to his shop, where he stained & polyurethane them. Then he power-washed my natural shingle, cape style house, following that he painted the concrete foundation of said house! We not only got a painter, we got a friend!"

Painters usually price a job by the square feet of the project. Sometimes they’ll include flat fees for fixed expenses, like overhead and permits.

Interior painting makes for a doable DIY project. You can save some money and get a real sense of accomplishment by doing this yourself. And, with the right prep work – covering, taping and scraping – it’s fairly forgiving. But it takes a lot of time to move furniture, tape trim, prep the surface and cover your floor, let alone apply the actual paint. Instead, save yourself the time and hassle and find a local interior painter.
Leave exterior painting to the pros. Not only do you need to worry about the type and quality of the paint, you’ll also likely need a ladder and considerably more prep work. You’ll likely need additional equipment like ladders, scaffolding and possibly a paint sprayer. It’s almost cheaper to just hire a pro. Talk to a local exterior house painter about your project.
