Renovations, Additions
"Performed the work professionally and as agreed upon. They remodeled my kitchen and 3 bathrooms (including my master bedroom and dining room). We added a 500 square foot room addition to expand the master bedroom and master bathroom. Vertex provided us with a great architect and engineer that created a beautiful and functional floor plan. They cleaned up after each work day and did an excellent job on my home remodel. They came in at budget as well. I'm also grateful that they handled my project from A-Z, I didn't have to interject once. I highly recommend Vertex."

custom home build
"I hired ReBuilt for a full-gut interior renovation. From the first call to the final site clean I felt taken care of. The estimate was detailed and clear. The in-house designer, Kaitlin, implemented my ideas and tactfully injected a few of her own to create a beautiful finished design. My Project Manager Ricardo was onsite daily and posted logs on Buildertrend, the companies software system. It was great seeing the updates! He also kept adherence to the 16 week schedule and overcame some minor obstacles from the city and a few materials vendors. All in all I'm very happy with the outcome and would definitely recommend ReBuilt!"

Depending on the type of project, you may find subtle differences in the hiring process. Here’s a look at task-specific advice.
You can use HomeAdvisor to help evaluate a contractor’s qualifications. We put pros through a screening process, and award badges to high-performing contractors. You can find these badges on a pro’s HomeAdvisor profile, and sometimes, his or her website.
Your research doesn’t stop here. Once you’ve found a few prospective companies, make an call to ask a few questions about work history, licensure and more:
In most cases, the responses you get to these three questions will give you a very good idea of the right pro for your project. If you have more than one front-runner, these additional questions can help you narrow it down.
Any good contractor will answer these questions, and most will appreciate dealing with a client that takes such an active interest in finding good service. On the other hand, if a contractor gives you a hard time with these questions, you probably want to find someone else.
