"We moved into a home that had two fireplaces, one of which really smelled of gas so we shut it off. After a year, we decided to get it working and Mark came out, serviced the working fireplace and inspected the non-operational one. He quickly identified that the valve was leaking gas. The fireplace was an older model so he had to take pictures and call the manufacturer to figure out what replacement valve would work. After many questions and emails from me to understand what was going on (I think we had 5 emails back and forth while they patiently answered my questions) he had it fixed and operating. That was last April. I turned off the gas for the summer and when I re-lit the pilot light in November the fireplace would not turn on. I emailed them with my issue, and they responded immediately and called with ideas of what I could try. They were so nice! They texted me pictures and detailed explanation of what to do. I still could not get it to work. Mark was in the area shortly after and he stopped by to inspect and immediately noticed that I had not hung the glass back on the fireplace correctly and a safety switch was preventing it from lighting. He could have charged me for a service visit for my operator error but did not. Great prompt, friendly and professional service!"
