"They were great and efficient. Our driveway is really steep. They had no problems. Cleared the swing out garage doors. I will have them come back for the next storms."

"My wife and I had two fences installed around the house. A J of Done Handyman Services went beyond our expectations. Beautiful wood work, custom design based off of a design we liked, and they worked quickly. We live in an area with a lot of professional contractors and craftsmen and we continue to get compliments on the quality of their work from these pros along with the rest of our neighbors. About us: "I've been painting homes, cabins, rooms, walls, ceilings, stairs, porches for 20+ years. I learned from a master painter, and the right way to approach any situation. Painting is not for most people, but I love it. I pride myself in working hard, and explaining the scope of the project so everyone is on the same page. I tend to work most projects by myself, but have several skilled people I can bring in depending on the scope of the project, and timeline. I also know a lot of skilled craftsman from builders, finish carpenters, stone masons, electricians, etc. that are all local in the Hudson Valley. We all look after each other, and refer to customers looking for talented trades folks. It's a great network. You can expect clear communication from the start. I will adapt to your schedule, and respect your house rules. I am very comfortable with dogs/cats. The one thing I ask of every client is to use quality paint. It's more expensive, but it's worth it."

"Louis seems to be a jack-of-all-trades and he masters every one of them! We appreciate that he fit our emergency into his busy schedule and, as a result, the job took place over the course of three days. But he prioritized well and showed up when he said he would. We will use his services again, I'm sure."

Painters usually price a job by the square feet of the project. Sometimes they’ll include flat fees for fixed expenses, like overhead and permits.
We make finding a painter easy. Simple use our directory to find a painter. Here you can browse local pros, check their reviews and do your first screening without ever having to call. We’ve also prescreened all the pros for you, to give you peace of mind.
Interior painting makes for a doable DIY project. You can save some money and get a real sense of accomplishment by doing this yourself. And, with the right prep work – covering, taping and scraping – it’s fairly forgiving. But it takes a lot of time to move furniture, tape trim, prep the surface and cover your floor, let alone apply the actual paint. Instead, save yourself the time and hassle and find a local interior painter.
Leave exterior painting to the pros. Not only do you need to worry about the type and quality of the paint, you’ll also likely need a ladder and considerably more prep work. You’ll likely need additional equipment like ladders, scaffolding and possibly a paint sprayer. It’s almost cheaper to just hire a pro. Talk to a local exterior house painter about your project.
