"Steve and his crew from Elite Building and Remodeling in Jackson were top notch! Excellent work! I would highly recommend them for any home improvements! If you ever had to deal with a contractor you'll know it's a chore just to get a callback. Not the case of Elite Building and Remodeling! I called Steve and he immediately called me back to set up a date to meet and inspect the work I asked about. Originally we thought the damage was just one piece of wood, but upon further examination, Steve found more damage than the original estimate. The entire front of the house around the garage needed to be replaced due to old termite damage. He provided me an updated estimate, which clearly explained what work was going to be performed. Steve was very accommodating giving the fact it was right before the Thanksgiving holiday. They completed the work in just a couple of days. We will be calling him back to remodel our bathroom in the spring!"

"These guys were honest and good at their work. Suggestions on replacing my deck saved me money(when I would easily have gone for the added expense). They also did not ask me for a dime until the project was completed. I would, and will, use these guys again. I recommend them highly."

HomeAdvisor makes it easy to connect with pros near you. You can read reviews, get quotes and book appointments all in one place.
Depending on the type of project, you may find subtle differences in the hiring process. Here’s a look at task-specific advice.
You can use HomeAdvisor to help evaluate a contractor’s qualifications. We put pros through a screening process, and award badges to high-performing contractors. You can find these badges on a pro’s HomeAdvisor profile, and sometimes, his or her website.
Your research doesn’t stop here. Once you’ve found a few prospective companies, make an call to ask a few questions about work history, licensure and more:
In most cases, the responses you get to these three questions will give you a very good idea of the right pro for your project. If you have more than one front-runner, these additional questions can help you narrow it down.
Any good contractor will answer these questions, and most will appreciate dealing with a client that takes such an active interest in finding good service. On the other hand, if a contractor gives you a hard time with these questions, you probably want to find someone else.
Hazlet Addition & Remodeling Contractors are rated 4.5 out of 5 based on 1189 reviews of 1189 pros.
