"Guy is amazing! He came to remove some cabinets and install new appliances and wound up helping me for the next four weeks. He’s installed water lines, gas lines, moved electrical outlets, installed all new receptacles in the house, installed new light fixtures, did drywall repairs, painted, stained, fixed the doors twice after the movers broke them, moved appliances, fixed the shower, removed moss from the roof and cleaned it, installed new light switches, installed exterior lights, chalked all the windows, hung new blinds, installed new flooring and molding, installed new sink vanity and faucet, replaced all the water shut off valves in the bathroom and kitchen and is doing a small remodel in the kitchen (new countertops, backsplash, sink and upgrading the cabinets). "We hired another company to install two new shut off valves in our basement. Our house is very old and actually has lead pipes coming into the house. The original plumber installed the valves and left without the water being turned back on. When it finally was turned on, there was a small leak in the compression fitting to the main line. So, we called Slades to come fix the problem. John was upfront about his service call pricing and hourly rate, and I found both to be completely reasonable. The best part of my interaction with Slades, however, is that I no longer have to worry about the problem. While my original plumber (a company that touted their decades of experience) had every excuse as to why the job could not be done properly, John simply solved the problem. Here is my highest form of praise: If I ever have another plumbing problem that I can't fix, I'm calling Slades."
