"We wanted two walls taken down inside our home to open up the floor plan, along with 2 interior railings (leading to the 2nd floor) rebuilt. One of the 2 walls lined the stairway to the second floor where one of the railings would be installed. The other wall required a transition to a sunken living room. All that to say, taking 2 walls down and building 2 railings may sound simple, but some fine craftsmanship was required and this is a central area of our home that receives quite a bit of traffic and attention. We chose RJS Renovations after talking with several contractors. Let me tell you, we are so glad we did! These guys are true professionals and their prices are more than fair. The job site was not particularly easy to access, but the crew handled it all with aplomb. Oscar and Douglas were readily available to answer any questions we had, and volunteered many points of information as the work was in process. The individual that performed the final re-installation of the slate tiles did so by himself, and his work in particular was impeccable.
