"Specialty Design Coatings did a great job on my backyard. I had a fairly difficult job, with 40 yr old concrete around my pool, decking and basketball court. The highest priority was the concrete around my pool that was cracking and breaking away. I had other bids to cut away the entire perimeter of my pool and re poor new concrete, but I knew this would not match the rest of my concrete and would look terrible next to the old weathered and cracked concrete everywhere else. Kaveh came up with the great idea of breaking away all the loose concrete, and the drilling and doweling rebar into to the decking and patching all the broken edging in place. We knew the patches would not match perfectly so he suggested coloring the entire deck with a concrete stain. In addition there were countless other cracks that were cut out and repaired and then ground down smooth. There were also several uplifted areas that were also ground down flush with the connecting concrete to prevent tripping. I never would have thought that they could make my old damaged concrete look good again. I am very thankful for his creativity in solving my problems without having to spend 10s of thousands of $ to remove and replace all my concrete. It is certainly not new, but he set clear expectations upfront of what it would look like and I am happy with the outcome overall. Most of all I am happy to have it done. I had several people bid on this before Specialty Design Coatings and none of them offered a reasonable solution to my problem. On top of all that, his crew was great to work with. They were on time, put in full days and were patient with all my questions along the way. I would not hesitate to use them again."

"Gustavo knows how to stain wood to perfection, and he s a very precise painter. He stained our 10x10, second story deck and a wood gate. I was worried stain might get splashed on the house, window, etc., but he taped, used drop cloths, and painted very neatly. He was very knowledgeable and answered all our questions. He took a day to clean and prep the deck, then waited a day to let it dry. Then he did the staining in one day. He arrived when he said he would, cleaned up the site afterward, and was very courteous. It was a pleasure to deal with such a professional. We will keep him in mind for any future painting/staining projects."
