"I interviewed 4 painting contractors to paint my 1700 sq. ft. basement. The final interview was from a Home Advisors reference: "Sodat De la Paz", out of Elgin, Illinois. After reading his reviews and meeting him in person, I was very impressed, and hired him with confidence. It was easy to see that he was a dedicated professional with a good amount of experience and a warm and friendly personality. It was the best decision I made. Not only was Sodat's quote well within the cost of the other bids, but he completed the work (two primer coats and two finished coats of three different colored paints for all walls, ceiling, and soffits) in just over two full days (as quoted). He is also committed to his word as much as his craft. He arrived on site every day as scheduled and worked a full 8 to 10hr. day, and his work is exceptional. I couldn't be more pleased with the final outcome. It looks beautiful. He is indeed a perfectionist in his craft.
