"Lombardi plumbing is a homeowners dream Ive been calling other plumbers never called me back or too busy, waited well over 1 year, my neighbor recommended Matt and he was at my house in less than a week. Repaired very old shower and sink pipes in 2 bathrooms and added all new shower faucets and sink faucets. Matt explains everything thoroughly and is a perfectionist. They cleaned up and extremely thorough. Ive recommended Matt to several neighbors. Thank you Matt and your assistant!!! Now to work on my tile:)"

Handyman, Bathroom, Kitchen
"I like the way he does business. The hot water heater was leaking and needed to be replaced. Hector arrived at the house, examined the water heater, and then explained to me my options for replacement. He then went to Loweâ s for the water heater and parts necessary to complete the job. Loweâ s called me for payment. He had respect for the property. The water heater was installed quickly and properly. Highly recommend Alpha & Omega construction."

"I highly recommend MDD Construction. Matt was a pleasure to work with and the craftmanship exceeded my expectations. Matt and his team were professional, hardworking. They cleaned up every day when they were done and at the end of the job the basement was spotless. Matts communication made me comfortable that I knew what was going on every step of the way. I would hire MDD for my next project without any hesitation."

Depending on the type of project, you may find subtle differences in the hiring process. Here’s a look at task-specific advice.
You can use HomeAdvisor to help evaluate a contractor’s qualifications. We put pros through a screening process, and award badges to high-performing contractors. You can find these badges on a pro’s HomeAdvisor profile, and sometimes, his or her website.
Your research doesn’t stop here. Once you’ve found a few prospective companies, make an call to ask a few questions about work history, licensure and more:
In most cases, the responses you get to these three questions will give you a very good idea of the right pro for your project. If you have more than one front-runner, these additional questions can help you narrow it down.
Any good contractor will answer these questions, and most will appreciate dealing with a client that takes such an active interest in finding good service. On the other hand, if a contractor gives you a hard time with these questions, you probably want to find someone else.
