"I recently hired Ivy Hill to update my kitchen, two bathrooms and paint our living room and dining room. Wow, what a difference! Just by updating my kitchen and bathroom to a more modern style it made my whole house feel different. Plus, I know when I sell in a few years it will help greatly since kitchens and bathrooms are some of the most important room in the house for buyers. In the meantime though, I’ll get to enjoy all of the nice updates."

Flooring
"I hired these guys from Pluto Remodeling to install new flooring in my basement but I wasn't sure what type of flooring I should do and they gave me ideas on how it would look best and now my basement looks better than I could have imagined. I 100% recommend these charismatic and hard-working young men."

Additions Remodels
"Lanigan cleared a very large tree and a demolished 2-car garage. He and his crew were polite and professional. They worked hard and completed the job in a timely manner. They cleaned the site well after finishing. They also came in with lower quotes than other larger companies. I would strongly recommend them for your contracting needs."

You can use HomeAdvisor to help evaluate a contractor’s qualifications. We put pros through a screening process, and award badges to high-performing contractors. You can find these badges on a pro’s HomeAdvisor profile, and sometimes, his or her website.
Your research doesn’t stop here. Once you’ve found a few prospective companies, make an call to ask a few questions about work history, licensure and more:
In most cases, the responses you get to these three questions will give you a very good idea of the right pro for your project. If you have more than one front-runner, these additional questions can help you narrow it down.
Any good contractor will answer these questions, and most will appreciate dealing with a client that takes such an active interest in finding good service. On the other hand, if a contractor gives you a hard time with these questions, you probably want to find someone else.
