"Over the last few months I have had 3 different companies look at my hard to slide, sliding glass door. Each said no parts were available for this door and went right in to trying to sell me a new door at a cost in the thousands. Bill, from American Sliding Door Repair called me promptly. I described my problem, the track on my vinyl door looked broken and it was difficult to slide. Bill said he knew this door, the parts are indeed available and he had them in stock. I made an appointment for the next morning, Bill and a helper arrived on time. They protected my floor with a tarp, pulled the door out, put it on saw horses on the patio. Bill went to work on replacing the rollers while the helper pulled out the broken track and got to vacuuming and cleaning the track. They brought a replacement track, an exact match and installed it. Put it all together, adjusted and lock and that was it! The door now slides like brand new. I usually have problems with home repair people. The cost was the same as I was quoted. No surprises. This is a business operated by professional people."

"Joe and Navid arrived on time. They showed me how to test for a sticky relay in a 1995 model Genie Blue Max circuit board for which parts are no longer available. They showed me how to work on the relay and fix it, if only temporarily. This willingness to share real experience and knowledge was worth every penny of the $89 house call fee. They educated me about worn-out door-balancing springs: 10,000 open-close cycles, $200 to replace. They quoted the price of a new motor that comes with new hardware: $450. They left me with my old system running and lubricated (I had not lubricated the screw drive in 15 years) and a plan to have them install a new spring and motor when the old ones finally fail. Their friendly and professional motto is, "We don't sell you what you don't need." I believe them."
