"I was referred to Halstead painting by the Sherman Williams Store in South Abington Township and from the initial estimate through completion of the extensive repainting project, Marc and his team were consummate professionals. The work involved prepping and painting kitchen cabinets, painting Vermont weatherboard walls, painting 2 brick fireplaces (1 real, 1 faux), painting built-in bookshelves in 2 rooms, painting sections of the staircase and repainting 2 bedrooms and included all ceilings. The work was completed efficiently and impeccably. The team also did electrical work and updated crown molding and shelving. Halstead painting is without question a remarkable value. The price was more than reasonable and the work performed by the entire team exceeded our expectations. I highly recommend Halstead painting. (Oh, and they do A LOT more than just painting and electrical work.....we'll be using them again!)"

"Exceptional Handyman Service! I recently hired Mr. handyman service to assemble a childrenâ s Playhouse in our backyard, and experience was nothing short of fantastic. From start to finish every aspect of the service was exemplary. Firstly scheduling the appointment was a breeze. The company was accommodating and flexible, and allowing me to choose what time that suited my schedule perfectly, which was super helpful to do around kidâ s nap/playtime schedule. The handyman, Jason, arrived and he came fully equipped with all tools needed for the job. The assembly was done swiftly and efficiently, and with a lot of detention to detail. However, they didnâ t rush the job, but took time to ensure that every step was completed with perfection that result was sturdy and beautifully constructed Playhouse that exceeded my expectations. I couldnâ t be happier with the service provided that they delivered outstanding workmanship and professionalism and courtesy every step of the way if you in need of any handyman services, I wholeheartedly recommend them. Thank you for making my childrenâ s Playhouse dreams come true!"

"Very professional and courteous. Great guys! They are fast and do an excellent job with honest pricing. If you have questions, they are quick to respond by phone or email. They are extremely knowledgeable and can help out with many different types of projects. Since the initial drywall and insulation project, I had them back for cabinets, windows, and bathroom renovations. They have consistently done an excellent job with every project."

Painters usually price a job by the square feet of the project. Sometimes they’ll include flat fees for fixed expenses, like overhead and permits.
We make finding a painter easy. Simple use our directory to find a painter. Here you can browse local pros, check their reviews and do your first screening without ever having to call. We’ve also prescreened all the pros for you, to give you peace of mind.
Interior painting makes for a doable DIY project. You can save some money and get a real sense of accomplishment by doing this yourself. And, with the right prep work – covering, taping and scraping – it’s fairly forgiving. But it takes a lot of time to move furniture, tape trim, prep the surface and cover your floor, let alone apply the actual paint. Instead, save yourself the time and hassle and find a local interior painter.
Leave exterior painting to the pros. Not only do you need to worry about the type and quality of the paint, you’ll also likely need a ladder and considerably more prep work. You’ll likely need additional equipment like ladders, scaffolding and possibly a paint sprayer. It’s almost cheaper to just hire a pro. Talk to a local exterior house painter about your project.
