"Charlie worked on Jul. 4, 2022, from 10 am - 6 pm, with some help from his wife, who drove separately in the afternoon. Ms.Otal helped with re-finishing lower flight hand(rail) wall, and painted wood-composite baseboards outside to keep paint smell outside. Charlie changed baseboards near master shower and left of master vanity. Old baseboards outside appeared to have dry rot from water damage since townhome was built in 1974, but internally remodeled in 2020, before I bought. Charlie and Cecilia, wife, also replaced the front door insert, partially, as needed, using his own drill, cleaning up w / his own vacuum cleaner and brush. Charlie and Cecilia were very detail-oriented, which could explain why they worked for eight hours on a holiday!"

"We hired Novo Designs to rebuild our deck, which the previous owner had built incorrectly (wood footings directly into the ground, wrong screws, not treated wood) so it was rotting. Novo Designs measured and provided a quote very quickly. We ended up going with a composite material. Novo Designs brought us a color sample so we could confirm we liked the gray color. "Joe and his crew did an outstanding job rebuilding a deck our original contractor had screwed up several years ago, and we had paid big bucks for. The original deck had composite deck boards, which were mostly salvageable. But the first contractor used â treated lumberâ that was questionable to build the foundation, which rotted completely. He also failed to space the deck boards which caused a massive drainage issue and had also failed to install flashing. The results were a collapsing deck, a sagging door, and a sinking floor. Joe was able to remediate every issue and even went a step further to remediate all of the other issues the faulty installation caused in the first place! Joe was reliable, easy to communicate with, and a great guy with a head full of knowledge. Iâ d highly recommend his service to anyone. I only wish Iâ d found Backyard Solutions sooner."

"Daron Dwyer and his team did an outstanding job on my new deck for an amazing price! Kept the same depth of old deck, but extended it an extra six feet wide. Added a step around the entire perimeter of two sides of the deck. Added a railing on the 3rd side of the deck as well. Used pressure treated lumber and screws. Built a brand new sub structure attached to the foundation of the home with the proper concrete anchors. He did not cut any corners on his work. Took time to make sure everything was safe and correct. His attention to detail was phenomenal. And done in two days! Cleaned up the work site as well. All for $8500. Compared to many other quotes I got for well above $10k-$15k. His price I believed was very honest compared to most. I will be using him for future projects!
