Wood Refinishing
"Absolutely wonderful to work with, I thought I knew what I wanted, and Henry showed me pictures of what it would look like, as well as what the latest trend was, as well as how it relates to return on investment for home valuation. Work came out beautifully, and even though the floor wasn't in tip top shape, all problem areas were made extremely clear before work began so I knew what to expect. We had some cat urine and water damage that is now part of the character of the home in the most beautiful way! I also asked about other projects he might be able to assist with, specifically a garage that I wanted the roof raised on (my bone stock 94 Blazer K1500 is too tall!), and he very clearly knew his stuff there too and knows the right people to help me get that project done. I have already referred him to people I know and they are AMAZED at the results!"

"I was not going to be around when Mate came to do the floors. When I returned from Chicago I was delighted as to what an excellent job had been done to my floors. I left the choice of stain up to Mate and was pleasantly surprised as to how it all came out. Also very clean and dust free. Thank you M.F. Hardwood"

"Wonderful experience. Our floors were transformed beautifully and the communication from both Jacob and Alex was modern (not reluctant to text) and quick. The work itself was first rate and they managed to start and finish reasonably quickly given the scope. Throughout the project, there was good communication, which helped manage expectations and make sure everything was on track. Highly recommended!"

"Both the owner, Shannon Alexander, and his assistant, Melvin (Moe) Lee, spent six days professionally refinishing original hardwood floors that had been subject to decades of various stains and carpet glue. They seamlessly repaired gaps between original floors and entry ways, sanded, stained and coated the entire flooring with two coats of polyurethane. The result is spectacular! My 1929 home feels cozy and authentic with Early American oak floors. They started and completed the job as contracted, consulted me every step of the way, and were both professional and courteous. An absolute Dream Team!"
