"We had Zane out to install a 240v outlet in our garage for an EV charger. He showed up right on time, did the work quickly, and it came out great! Everything looks clean and it functions as expected. I also got probably a dozen estimates and there’s was the most affordable by a mile! I couldn’t be happier with my experience, and I’ll definitely be a repeat customer the next time I’m in need of an electrician."

"I posted for quotes on an urgent job around 7 AM on Sunday morning. Ryan called within minutes. By noon, the job had been professionally completed. They were fast, friendly, thorough and affordable. I will definitely call them for other projects and will recommend them yo friends, family, neighbors, anyone who needs electrical work. They were cleaning up after their work before anyone else even called."

"Sound Power responded quickly to my request for repairs, showed up on time, diagnosed the problem and completed the repair in a short time. They billed me only for work performed and did not try to gouge or pad their bill. I am very happy with these folks and would use them again in a heartbeat."

"Rock Electric was great. We had electricity brought to a new shop in our backyard. The Rock people were on time, they stayed in touch while we were scheduling and rescheduling. The initial visit went well and all the little details were worked out in a straightforward manner. No issues when we requested the work be permitted either. They were accommodating and professional When there was a question about the trench we dug that we thought met specs they reached out immediately and made sure they were ok to proceed. The job was done quickly and the permitting inspection was also done at the same time. Great customer service. They did a fine job of staying in touch for time frames. After initially speaking with some other outfits that never got back to us or did not show or call for their scheduled appts it was refreshing to work with a group with conscientious, communicative, customer oriented people. We would definitely hire them again if a project comes up. Thanks guys."

Electricians do a fair amount of larger remodeling and new construction projects but also common residential projects including:

A truly skilled, well-equipped professional with a truck full of parts that charges $100 an hour can be a much wiser choice than an inexperienced hack, working with inadequate tools and no parts, but charging much less. Often, more experienced professionals get the job done quickly with warrantied work.
2. Compare Travel ChargesRates reflect travel times. Travel charges can have a big impact on your costs and are in some ways easier to compare than hourly rates. Many electricians spend a third or more of their time navigating traffic on their way to a jobsite. Every contractor must find a way to pay for the expense of driving each day.
3. Bundle Repair Jobs TogetherWhen you feel it’s time to call a pro, review your list and then conduct a mini-inspection of your home. Look for faulty switches and dysfunctional or crowded outlets. When the electrician comes, you’ll save money and time by getting everything taken care of at once.
