"I hired Jim to update and re-model my bathroom, He did a great job, was always here when he said he would be. He arranged plumbers and electricians and made the reno as painless as possible. Jim is very communicative, willing to roll with the punches and smart. He had great advice, was always willing to work with me an within his quote, came in slightly under budget, even. The bathroom looks clean and bright. I'm very happy with the work he did."

"Unbelievably great job at a fair price! Believe it or not, the basement wall looked better after his repair than before it was cracked, because they finish with a cosmetic coating. Not only would I recommend them, but plan to use their service for any other issues that arise."

"Adam did an excellent job building our garage from the ground up. He was excellent to work with. Not only was he very professional, so were the subcontractors that he hired. Everyone was knowledgeable, helpful and friendly. Our project required that a road be built to accommodate large trucks in the springtime. The project stayed on track and proceeded smoothly. We were never left wondering “what’s next?” Adam has great communication and stayed in touch to make sure we knew what was coming up and when. I would definitely recommend using Magic Frog Carpentry."

Your research doesn’t stop here. Once you’ve found a few prospective companies, make an call to ask a few questions about work history, licensure and more:
In most cases, the responses you get to these three questions will give you a very good idea of the right pro for your project. If you have more than one front-runner, these additional questions can help you narrow it down.
Any good contractor will answer these questions, and most will appreciate dealing with a client that takes such an active interest in finding good service. On the other hand, if a contractor gives you a hard time with these questions, you probably want to find someone else.
