I have owned my home for over 18 years, and have done a lot of work on it - from smaller jobs, to full underpinning and finishing basement, full kitchen gut and redo, full bathroom gut and redo. Overall, Juan was the best contractor I have hired in 18 years of working on this home. He was polite, punctual, his work was absolutely excellent, and his price was fair considering the scope of work. He removed my concrete driveway and replaced it with a permeable paver driveway that qualified for the Chesapeake Bay Foundation's rebate program. "We needed our front brick and concrete 3 level patio entranceway replaced along with work on our entrance walkway. The entranceway had settled and shifted because adequate footings were not put in when the house was built in 1969. The 40 foot long brick and slate walkway from the driveway to the front entrance patio had also settled and shifted. All of the work performed was personally supervised and in several instances performed by Mr. Hernandez - a conscientious family person who made sure the job was done properly. It is always nice to work with a person who takes personal responsibility and pride in his work and is not just a salesman who makes a sale and then is gone. "They repointed mortar on a very tall chimney using carefully placed scaffolding to ensure safety. Also applied Chimney Saver water repellant as I had requested. In addition, they repaired my paver style driveway by adding a nice design so that old pavers could be used to correct areas with large spaces in between pavers. All work was done in a professional and timely manner."
