"A plumber came out and detected my lower kitchen cabinets had some water damage. He suggested I make a claim with my insurance company to have the work repaired. Upon reaching out to Home Advisor, I was contacted by Fred Stoddard with Stoddard Kitchens. Fred and his son Steven made their initial visit to assess what could be done. These guys impressed me from the start with their vision. Their recommendation to extend my “L” shaped peninsula cabinets out an entire 12 inches gave me an incredible amount of additional kitchen workspace. In turn, this enabled them to install some 18 inch side drawers to the left of my stove to handle some fairly large pots and pans. I had never had this type of storage space within the kitchen area until now. In addition, they created a one-of-a-kind installation with ornate, crown molding at the top of my cabinets along with a corner cabinet maximizing space. They also envisioned a full-wall backsplash, which after installation continues to thrill me each day I walk into the room! Fred and Steven spent multiple hours on removing the old cabinets and took great care in setting up the new ones. Since I am on a slab, the original concrete foundation was uneven (as much as a 1 inch in areas!) and these guys took an incredible amount to time to ensure the cabinets and countertops were perfectly level. The attention to detail and precise measuring was second to none. We have been totally thrilled with the finished product. I cannot say enough great things about Stoddard Kitchens. Having no prior knowledge of this industry, I was so hesitant about bringing just ‘anyone’ into my home that may or may not have known what they were doing.
