Took the post down, removed the old mortar brick-by-brick, and matched the old mortar about perfectly when they built it back, replacing a single damaged brick (I had a few left they could use). "We had these guys finish our fireplace from 10 feet to about 19, and the roof was at a strange angle. They took the time to make the cuts on the bricks at the top to match the roof making the fireplace look fully finished and very beautiful! I would recommend them to anyone needing work done. I plan to use them again in spring for our next project."
