"Two issues occurred simultaneously: The first intense rainstorm in September flooded beneath a newly built fence and rushed over a low retaining wall, collapsing it in two places. On the front of the house, the catch basin in the driveway that was supposed to carry water from the drain spouts along the side of the house filled with mud, its connection to the drains apparently destroyed. I drew up a plan for dealing with both issues and received bids from three companies. Tiger's Landscaping owner, Jim Faulkner, seemed most competent and willing to do the job, and his bid was much lower than the others. We discussed the plan in detail and I felt his company was my best option. Jim and crew arrived the day after Thanksgiving and completed the project within five hours! All of the crew members were hard working, kind, and professional, and treated me and each other with respect. They rebuilt the retaining wall and installed a French drain behind it, wrapped in fabric and filled with rocks, and from that a drainpipe carried that water beneath the wall, underground through the yard where it was joined by pipes coming from the drain spouts on the house. The main pipe then continued beneath the fence where it emptied into rocks a few feet from the culvert. They tested it with a hose and it worked perfectly. I am very relieved and pleased to have this dealt with by such a fine company. I would highly recommend Jim Faulkner and Tiger's Landscaping, for any project he decides to tackle."

"I had a dead tree that needed to be removed. Due to the location and accessability, I was concerned that having the tree removed would damage our landscaping. Crazyviking came out, surveyed the area, explained, step by step, how he would remove tree, how long it would take and assured me that he would do his best to protect the surrounding areas. We set a date for 2 days later, he arrived, removed the tree exactly like he said he would, chopped and stacked the fallen tree into pieces that I could burn in my fire pit. "I was very pleased with the very difficult job United Landscaping and Construction Company did of removing a very large tree trunk along with its multiple large underground and on top root system. There was a rock wall along with a rock trim they had to remove along with a small piece of concrete. They then had to put it all back together again after they removed the stump. They did a perfect job. It was a lot of hard work so the price they quoted was fair."

"Gave a quote for heavy moss removal, thatching, over seed and top soil, trimmed some trees and bushes and did more than asked or quoted, trimming other shrubs. Great price and quick quality service. "Jake did not delay getting a bid to us & fine-tuned the specifications of the project as needed. The front & back lawns were removed, yards leveled, underground sprinkler system installed in both, & the front lawn was sodded & the back hydroseeded. On each day of the project I was home & was impressed with the professionalism of the crew. Neighbors commented on the finished product & how well the crew worked as a team. At no time was any of the crew standing idly by. Once installed the sprinkler system was tested twice & will be retested at a later date. Lanco receives my highest recommendation."
