"Last winter my arborvitae hedge was badly damaged by heavy snow. This week Cory from Set Apart Tree service carefully pruned and trimmed it. Within one hour I was pleased to see it beginning to look attractive again. Using pruners and loppers (no chainsaw) he removed heavily damaged branches and lightened drooping branches so they could stand straight again. The hedge is now airy and natural, still high enough to provide privacy, and healthy enough to regain the strength needed to withstand the snow next winter. I have a garden growing alongside the hedge, planted with many perennial and annual plants. Cory was able to work without damaging them! I would use Set Apart Tree Service again."

Took down the tree in SAFE manageable sections with NO issues. Also touch up trimming of other trees to my satisfaction. The price was a little high - but you do get what you pay for! "Nick came well prepared for the project. To begin the project a section of chain link fence had to be moved aside to provide access to the backyard. He had sheets of plywood to lay down on the grass to help protect the lawn from damage from the Skid Steer. He first removed five pool anchors sunk into the yard using the Skid Steer and then removed a lot of river rock that remained around the pool edge. These materials were hauled away. Then 40 yards of topsoil was brought in from the street where it was dumped. Fortunately Nick planned on 5 extra yards, because all topsoil was needed. After the soil was meticulously graded, grass seed, fertilizer, and straw was put down over the former pool area. Cleanup was performed and all work was completed in one day. I have excellent pictures if I manage to attach them."

He was polite, professional, courteous, prompt and was able to add my small job to his schedule very quickly! His price was fair and I was happy to get the tree removed before it fell on its own in the wrong direction ( on my barn!) He got the tree down quickly and dropped it into the woods!!!
