"Simply put, you will NOT find a better, more honest, more helpful, more easy-to-work-with, reasonably priced contractor than John Lee and his crew at J & K Home Improvement & Restoration! We had a "complicated" set of circumstances when our home was damaged by a storm, last winter. The insurance company sent out an estimator to assess the damage and, after the company recommended J & K Home Improvement & Restoration, I was introduced to John Lee. I eventually learned that John also does estimates for a variety of insurance companies (because his company is so well regarded), and he patiently listened as I described the nuances associated with our house. During our initial consultation, he was able to clearly describe all of the steps that would be necessary and answer all of our questions. Long story short, not only was John able to address EVERY single concern and request that we had regarding the eventual repairs to the house (including roof, siding, and a window upgrade that would have cost much more if we had done it at a later time), but he spent plenty of extra time making sure that everything we had talked about was addressed to our 100% satisfaction! He was also able to persuade the insurance company to cover more complete repairs than was originally specified by the first adjuster! In addition, when we had an electrical "hiccup" associated with all the pounding on the walls, John quickly sent an expert electrician to locate and correct the problem. He absolutely could have passed those charges on to us because the failure wasn't due to any mistake on the part of his crew but, instead, he picked up the unanticipated expense himself. It was truly a pleasure to work with John! He made a difficult situation as easy to manage as possible, and we would strongly recommend J & K Home Improvement & Restoration to anyone who wants to hire a quality contractor that stands behind their work and well-earned reputation!"

"Paul and his crew are true craftsmen. We own an architecturally significant 1930s bungalow with a Spanish tile roof and 6" copper gutters which needed replacement. I had no idea that it took so much to do this type of work, but PZ was completely up to the task! They were always here on time, prepared, neat with their work habits, and willing to do the little extra things we requested. For instance, we had an issue with squirrels squeezing into our dormer eaves where they met the roof. Paul designed a piece of copper flashing and installed it in the joint, creating a permanent solution. On our detached garage, we opted for aluminum gutters painted to match the exterior trim color. Again, PZ handled that part of the job quickly and thoroughly. The whole house looks like a million bucks, and for that we thank PZ Construction! They were on the site within two days and although delayed briefly by additional snowfall which made it dangerous to work on the roof, they got out and got the problem areas addressed just in time to feel confident ahead of Christmas that we are in good shape until better weather arrives and can look at a potential replacement.
