"Our experience with B and D Christian Painters is extremely positive. The scope of the work included painting the inside and outside of the house. The inside was 1300 SF. They cleaned and prepped all surfaces prior to painting. They painted the kitchen cabinets as well. They were trustworthy, on time, and provided professional workmanship. During the painting project hey ensured the protection of our wood floors and property as well as securing the property. They pressure washed and cleaned and prepped the outside of the house as well before painting. They did an excellent job of cleaning the carport ceiling which was covered in dirt and grime etc. The project was completed before the estimated completion date. Attentive to detail and going the extra mile to ensure that we the customer were satisfied. They even had suggestions that we incorporated into our project. Easy to work with and caring. After all that is why I hire a professional instead of doing it myself. I have to say Roland did not disappoint. We hired him do paint our living room, kitchen, laundry room and hallway. "I needed to refurbish a house for my daughter which was in very rough shape, ceiling damage in two rooms from roof leaks and a bad paint job from long ago. Amen Brothers sort of took the job and made it their own project. Repaired/replaced ceilings in three rooms, painted ceilings and walls in all of house. They were also very helpful in selecting colors , and finishes in kitchen area. The price was surprisingly low. Overall it was a great value and I'm happy with the completed work."

- Do you belong to any professional organizations? You’ll find many online, like the Painting Contractors Association or the Finishing Contractors Association?
- Do you have other work I can look at? Always check a portfolio or, in the case of painters, it’s better to look at work they did a few years ago to see how well it’s held up.
- How long will the job take? Get a rough estimate but get it in writing.
- How many people are in your crew? This is especially important if you work remotely. More people generally means more noise, but they’ll be done faster.
- Will I be in the way if I’m home during the painting? You usually won’t be in the way, but this question helps you understand what to expect while they’re working. They’ll need to lay down coverings and do a lot of prep work.
- Do you guarantee your work? Never hire a painter who doesn’t guarantee their work. This often means they’ll rush the prep work, since peeling never happens right away.
- What type of paint do you use, and how long is it rated to last? Different rooms need different paint and the exterior needs exterior paint. It comes in different grades with different guaranteed lifetimes.
