"When my home needed a bit of freshening up, I looked to HomeAdvisors for a painting contractor. I had used a carpet specialist I found thru them and was most satisfied . I filled in the form with everything I wanted done in the house and clicked submit. Shortly afterward I received a call from Allen Tupper owner of Value Painting , LLC. We made a time convenient for both of us , for him to come look at the house. He showed up right on time and took his shoes off at the front door. Both much appreciated by me. I was very specific in my needs and wants and didn't hesitate in saying so. I was having the two smaller bedrooms upstairs painted. Even though they were both going to be different colors, I only wanted Benjamin Moore Regal Satin Paint in an eggshell finish on the walls. There were to be 2 coats. The ceilings were to be given one coat of ceiling white and all trim was to be Benjamin Moore semi-gloss white, Downstairs the family room and the kitchen were being painted . In the family room there was Ralph Lauren Sand Finish paint. Everyone told me this was going to be a big messy job. It would all have to be sanded off then skim coated then hopefully the paint would look good after 2 coats. Allen felt the walls, said he would spackle in the holes and dents and 2 coats of Benjamin Moore would cover. And it did beautifully, The trim was all semi-gloss white. Gorgeous. The kitchen got a fresh coat of Million Dollar Red by Benjamin Moore and looks good as new, All in all, Allan and his partner showed up right on time, got right to work covering everything with drop cloths and plastic. They moved my furniture very carefully and then replaced it just as carefully the next day, leaving me time to clean and vacuum where I'm usually not able to. There were no loud boomboxes . I offered coffee and water but they just wanted to work. Two of the most pleasant gentleman I have ever had work in my home. I would use them again and will definitely refer them to any of my friends that might be in need of a painter, Thanks Allen, it was a pleasure and the house looks great!"

"I hired Jersey Pro to fix my cracked wall, which is built upon a partial old foundation, with stucco. Angelo and his team, Loca and Jimmy, are easy going, wonderful to work with. Angelo and his team are so pleasant, professional and detailed orientated. Angelo is so patient, and explainted all details and answered all my questions when he did the estimate. Plus, he gave a quite reasonable price. I’d like Jersey Pro help me solve the major wall cracks and some other repairing jobs, such as, fissures on the concrete sidewalk, pop-up vinyl siding, tiny cracks on the steps, etc. Angelo and his team not only did excellent work for all of these on time, they also clean all debris. Anyone who has experience with contactors may have concern on their punctuality. Angelo and his team are excellent on that. The first time when Angelo came over to evaluate the project, he called me let me know he may be late about 30min. Then he came exactly the time he promised. On the 1st day of the project, Angelo said they would come around 9:00 am. In that morning at 9:00 o’clock, a pile of well stacked cement already loaded on my driveway!!! On the 2nd day of the project, Angelo’s team showed up at 8:30 am and started the job on perfect time. After all, I like Angelo and his team for their professional, excellent and punctual service, details oriented working attitude, and reasonable price. It was pleasant to work with Jersey Pro. No doubt, I will recommend Jersey Pro to everyone I know."

"We hired A1 for two jobs. The first one was to repair a fireplace chimney. We had water coming down the chimney into the fireplace. They had to remove and replace top 10 tiers of brick, concrete, recap and paint the exterior. They were on time, professional, fairly priced and did a very good job. Clean worksite and easy to work with. It's been a few months and still no leaks. Just recently we had some roof damage in a totally unrelated area, opposite side of the roof and called Tony once again. Water was pouring into. our attic. In the middle of a storm Tony came, got up on a ladder to out two story roof and tarped it to prevent further water damage. He then came back and took care of all the repairs after the storm was over. He is a hard worker with great work ethic. Does the job properly and knows his stuff. We would hire him again and recommend ."

"I hired Greg to complete my kitchen renovation. He put down a new floor - porcelain tile - and did a terrific job. I used 6x24 tiles that looked like wood, which he hadn't worked with much but the finished job looks great. "It is with deep satisfaction that I recommend Gradys Painting and Plastering & Construction. Mr. George Grady is a skilled craftsman. He was hired to correct long neglected and extensive masonry and window issues on a large, beautiful Presbyterian Church built in the Civil War era in Philadelphia. The property was neglected with only minimal maintenance performed over the last 40+ years. The building was in severe decline and in need of stabilization and restoration on many fronts. Cracked ledge plates were chipped out and reestablished, internal walls damaged by leakage were broken out and repaired, brickwork was repointed and in severe cases reestablished to original strength and beauty. Leaks around the base of the building were addressed to stabilize deterioration of the foundation. Large rotted window sills under beautiful stained glass windows were restored after significant masonry reestablishment due to water damage under the rotted out sills. Broken and missing stained glass windows are in the process of repair and replacement. The process started with new metal frames cast by Mr. Grady. The new frames will hold clear painted replications of the original stained glass, also crafted by Mr. Grady. Regular windows all around the church and manse were also repaired and restored. Roof leaks were accurately identified and repaired. A sagging plaster ceiling has been torn out and restored. All this work was done by Mr. Grady alone or with an occasional helper. He worked with care, expertise and respect for the original structure. The results far exceeded our expectations and have injected new life into a building on the brink. This building, owned by the Presbytery of Philadelphia, now houses a new urban ministry in a newly gentrifying area of the city. We are happy to have had the good fortune to be connected to Gradys Painting and Plastering & Construction by Service Magic."
