"We had a very difficult job that needed the best painters in town to complete. Our walls were peeling and had several layers of old paint in addition to something that was causing any new paint to chemically react. We called Midcoast Painting and Rodney kindly took on the task. In addition to skim coating, sanding and painting (walls, ceiling, trim) his team also refinished our stairs and replaced trim to match the existing trim present in the house. Rodney provided the best customer service and contacted with us about any issues or updates we needed to hear about. His team did a superb job and even though our house is old their painting expertise made this place look pretty close to brand new. We can't thank them enough for the amazing job they did and will 100% reach out to them again for future projects"

"EXCELLENT CONTRACTOR. My project was drywall installation during a bathroom remodel. I chose Golden Rule after reading the reviews and obtaining an estimate. The price matched the budget I had set for this part of the project. The work was performed during four visits over four days (drying periods are required for drywall). Michael showed up on time each day. He was very polite and very helpful with explanation of drywall techniques and also offered advice on other household repairs I might need. The final product was perfect and ready for painting. I am very pleased and would not hesitate to use Golden Rule for any future projects."
