"We had water damage and so had to replace certain parts of the bathroom, and then decided while we are at it to do a full modernization. Paul alerted us to the fact that some of this cost would be reimbursable by our insurance carrier - and it was - resulting in several thousand dollars of savings that we otherwise would not have. We have an old house (1860) and Paul was interested in the history of the place and knowledgeable about the old construction methods. In these Covid times, everything took longer - material availability and such - but Paul was good about letting us know what was going on, and very responsive any time we had a question. Most importantly, Sam, Anthony and project manager Adryan were on site every day coordinating the work and reachable within a moment's notice. In a very short three and a half weeks in August, the Universal team completed the complex plan.  New Pennsylvania fieldstone masonry work at the base of the home was installed first, including a new retaining wall.  A brand new timber tech rear deck was built.  Twelve new windows were installed.  All new James Hardie siding was installed and a substantial nine by twelve foot front portico completely transformed the front of the home.  Large scale reno is inexorably daunting, but the Universal team was communicative throughout the process. Any minor tweaks required or requested were met with prompt action to ensure the project was completed to expectations. We recommend URS for any exterior renovations. TY."
