"Although I felt a little stupid,they didn't make me feel stupid *S* Anyhow, David came over as sort of a "pre appointment" to survey the problem. It turned out all I needed was a new filter and the sound was corrected. Apparently, the "better" filters can restrict airflow and cause the noise...that's why I felt stupid. I tried to give him money for his time and effort, as I didn't need a full blown service call, but he refused. I took his card and not only will use him for my furnace and air conditioning needs in the future, but will recommend him highly to everyone and anyone I talk to."
